Who We Are
Kiwanis International- Volunteers Improving Children’s Lives
Kids need adults who care. That’s why people join Kiwanis clubs. We’re a group of like-minded volunteers who make a difference. Neighbors, friends, family. Together, we serve to change children’s lives. In fact, all around the world — in communities like ours — Kiwanis International is serving kids who need us most.

Service Hours Performed by the Kiwanis Family Each YearKiwassee Kiwanis Club includes Midland community members who generously dedicate their time and resources to support children, youth, and adults in the Midland community and beyond. We partner with schools, hospitals, nonprofits, businesses, foundations, and others. All proceeds from our annual fundraisers support these initiatives.
Kiwassee supports organizations use our donated funds to best serve children, youth and families in our area. Club members also provide hundreds of hours each year to “sweat equity” and volunteer work to the projects we support. We ring Salvation Army bells at Christmas, painted building exteriors and interiors at Eagle Village, and so much more! We support the annual holiday party for Floyd Elementary School first graders, which includes snacks, a visit from Santa, and a clothing gift for each child; the Great Start Readiness and Head Start Programs by buying books and reading to preschoolers in Midland County. Additionally, we have donated to support robotics teams at Jefferson and Northeast Middle Schools, and the STEM robotics team at Bullock Creek.
